Little known as yet, Lesley has a style!

Born in Montrose, Scotland, Lesley came to the United States in 1982. "Painting was always an interest but it took a back seat" while she worked as a Registered Nurse. For many years her passion was landscapes in oil and watercolors, based on her beautiful homeland.

In her studio in the peaceful Santa Cruz Mountains, her creativity now runs free painting what she calls "her Divas" in bright acrylics. Her work is bold and imaginative, and she gets her muse from people watching. The result is a conglomeration of vivid color depicting strong vibrant women.

"Its fun, flamboyant. It's like I paint my alter-egos. These Ladies are a celebration of Women."

Lesley has paintings exhibited in Scotland and Amsterdam. Her art has also appeared at Pacific Thai in Santa Cruz, the Scotts Valley Art and Wine Show, and at Temple to the Arts, Boulder Creek.
